When AP Literature meets a little mad science… 🧪 Inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, English IV AP Literature students created their own literary monsters. Each creature used body parts to represent literary elements such as setting, plot, and theme, along with pieces that reflected the students’ own interests.

Students also wrote a scientist’s journal about their process, including a letter to their creation and reflections on Catholic social teachings. 📚

Congratulations to senior Alexis Gray on being named an LSU Stamps Scholar, one of the university’s most prestigious and competitive honors. The award covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, and housing, and provides enrichment funding to support research, study abroad, internships, and other academic opportunities. Stamps Scholars also join a global network of student leaders and alumni.

8th graders in Computing & Digital Dynamics programmed XGO Lite micro:bit robot dogs 🤖🐾

Mr. Lindeman’s first period even took it a step further, trying to program their dogs to match their Spirit Day routines.

The Cubs with the Gloves went undefeated in district for the second year in a row, claiming the 2026 District 9-5A championship and earning multiple All-District honors.
