๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝโœˆ๏ธ Our final destination was Mexico!

Today we wrapped up VBS with a trip aboard Dragon Air to Mexico, where we learned all about St. Juan Diego and his incredible faith. We enjoyed tortilla chips and salsa for our in-flight snack, then put our engineering skills to the test by creating and flying paper airplanes during games.

Since the Church celebrates the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus today, our travelers created beautiful Sacred Heart candles in Art as a special reminder of Jesusโ€™ love for us. We also gathered for a closing assembly to showcase all that we learned throughout the week.

What a Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer it has been! From Canada to Poland, France, Italy, and Mexico, we grew in faith, learned from inspiring saints, and discovered virtues that help us follow Christ each day.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, families, and supporters who made this ministry possible. We are so grateful for a wonderful week of faith, fun, and friendship! โค๏ธโœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Ciao from Italy! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Today at VBS, we traveled to Italy and learned about the virtue of Zealโ€”the enthusiasm and excitement that helps us serve God with joyful hearts and loving actions. โค๏ธโœจ

We met St. John Bosco, whose passion for helping young people showed us what it means to live with zeal every day. Our snack on board was an Italian favoriteโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ• PIZZA! ๐Ÿ•

What an amazing day of faith, fun, and adventure! Tomorrow we make our final stop on our Radical Ride around the worldโ€ฆ MEXICO! ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ We canโ€™t wait to see where our journey takes us next!

Day 3 of VBS took us all the way to Paris, France, where we learned about St. Bernadette and the miracles of Lourdes! โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

Our Bible verse reminded us to Ask, Seek, and Knock as we grow closer to God and trust in His plan for our lives. The virtue of the day was Respect, and we explored the many opportunities we have each day to show respect for ourselves, our families, our friends, and everyone we meet.

From faith-filled lessons to fun activities, our travelers continue to discover how Godโ€™s love reaches every corner of the world! We canโ€™t wait to see where our next adventure takes us. ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒโœˆ๏ธ Day 2 of our Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer was another amazing adventure!

We traveled to Poland, where we learned about Saint Faustina and the Divine Mercy Image. Our travelers enjoyed making delicious Divine Mercy cookies, sharing a special snack, and discovering the importance of placing our trust in God.

Our virtue of the day was Trust, and we heard the inspiring Bible story of the disciples putting their faith in the Lord, even when they faced uncertainty. Through prayer, activities, and fellowship, we were reminded that God is always with us and worthy of our trust.

Next, our journey takes us to France, where weโ€™ll meet Saint Bernadette and continue our exciting VBS adventure! ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Stay tuned to see where our travels take us next at VBS!

BIG moment!โœจEvery year, the 6th graders participate in a year-long competition resulting in one student being named Mr. / Miss Julius Caesar. This year, the competition celebrated its 5th Anniversary and we are beyond excited to announce that earlier today Elise Guste โ€˜27 was crowned Caesar V as the winner of the 2025-2026 Julius Caesar Social Studies Competition. By obtaining the highest average in her section of United States History, Elise became eligible for the Tournament of Champions. When her homeroom (6C) was declared co-champions of the Julius Caesar Social Studies Homeroom Competition with homeroom 6T, Elise was officially entered into the championship tournament. Today, Elise competed against four additional qualifiers in a variety of skill challenges including engineering, strategy, athletics, and academia. At 2:40 p.m this afternoon, Eliseโ€™s friends embraced her as she officially secured the title. Tomorrow is a special day for the 6th Grade as it will come together as a group as Elise unveils her official picture within the Julius Caesar Social Studies Competition display on the 3rd Floor of Aquinas Hall. Once again, congratulations to Elise and to her family!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Our 5th graders visited to the National WWII Museum today. After learning the basics of World War II in class and reading the powerful novel Number the Stars, students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding through interactive exhibits, artifacts, and personal stories from the war.
Experiences like these help history move beyond the pages of a book and into meaningful learning that students will remember for years to come. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ“šโœจ
