🥳 Today we celebrate the birthday of George Rodrigue (1944-2013) — an artist whose vision, imagination, and unmistakable style left a lasting mark on American art. From his early Cajun landscapes to the iconic Blue Dog series, Rodrigue created images that connect deeply with audiences around the world.
His work blends storytelling, culture, and mystery in a way that continues to inspire new generations of collectors and admirers. Though he is no longer with us, his creative spirit lives on through the vibrant characters and scenes he brought to life on canvas. Today we remember his passion for art, his Louisiana roots, and the legacy he left behind. Happy Birthday, George! 💙
