It was a pleasure to welcome UNO Alumni Association Board Member and Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles Gene Seroka, '86 and '88 (BS in Marketing, MBA), back on campus. He delivered an insightful presentation to a group of management students, including those from the inaugural cohort of the supply chain and logistics concentration. We were honored to have Gene share his remarkable journey as a first-generation college student from Slidell, his decision to pursue graduate studies, and the educational foundations provided by the University of New Orleans that have paved the way for a successful career, which includes several significant overseas roles, culminating in his leadership of one of the largest ports in the world.
