We loved partnering with Kehoe-France today to bring Rose Rosenkranz to speak with the seventh grade.
Hearing her share her story â from surviving the Holocaust to building a life in America â is something students will carry with them.
So grateful to collaborate with educators who are committed to keeping these stories alive.

Weâre two weeks out from Dr. Pamela Nadellâs Rottman Family Lecture! Join us for a Book Talk for âAntisemitism, an American Traditionâ on February 26 at 6:00 PM at Touro Synagogue. Nadell will be in conversation with the Grant Centerâs Dr. Michael Cohen. Light refreshments will be served before the program.
From the arrival of Jews in New Amsterdam in 1654 to the present day, Nadell traces nearly four centuries of antisemitism in the United Statesâhow it took root, how it has shaped Jewish life, and how Jews have continually resisted prejudice through advocacy, law, and coalition-building. At a moment of rising hate, this book reminds us why understanding this history matters.

Weâre sad to be concluding the final day of the Jewish American & Holocaust Literature Symposium (JAHLit). Over two full days, preceded by an opening keynote lecture, the symposium fostered sustained, collegial engagement with new research in Jewish American literature and Holocaust literature. JAHLit is intentionally structured to emphasize continuity, depth, and community, convening a small group of participants around a shared table to encourage ongoing dialogue, mentorship, and the productive exchange of ideas between established scholars and emerging voices.
We want to thank all of the participants who traveled to New Orleans for the 30th conference, to all of the generous sponsors who made this possible, and to NOCHI and The Building for being such gracious and committed hosts.
