Thank you to .cave for being our headquarters for the pig and your continued support. We would also, again, like to thank our sponsors .cave , , Mark, , , DAQA, , and .

Thank you, to all the folks that kept us fed and hydrated! for the Pig duties, for the pick me-ups, Mason for the dope sides, and a third thanks to .cave for keeping us up with snackage.

Thank you to all the devs who decided to drive themselves crazy in order to make a game in 12 hours!

And finally, a big thank you to everyone who came out to spend their Sunday with us, donating, buying a plate, or simply coming by to check out the hard work of a bunch of nerds. We truly appreciate your support.

New Orleans Game Developers with the New Orleans Public Library presents Study Sessions: a dynamic series of hands-on workshops diving deep into the esoterica of game development! From coding to design, storytelling to sound, each 1-2 hour workshop will be an opportunity to dive into a different topic led by a local designer, with NOGD staff there to assist those following along. Join us at the Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center at 5pm!

This week, Curtis Cummings will give a crash course on GODOT, the up and coming open source alternative to the big game development software suites. If you've ever wanted to leave the good ship Unity, take a vacation from Unreal, or just explore a fast changing and exciting new game engine, come by and learn a few things! You may want to bring a computer to follow along though.

Not interested in the topic that week but still want to study or work with like-minded individuals in the field? We'll have a collaborative space for folks to pop in, hang out, and get to work with friends and colleagues.

Study Sessions are free and open to all ages and skill levels, but certain workshops may be more advanced than others. We encourage those who are interested to get acclimated with the subject matter and material requirements before they commit.

Today is GiveNOLA Day!

If you have the means, please consider donating to NOGD your friendly neighborhood non-profit https://www.givenola.org/nogd

Come hang out with us at Sea Cave Arcade tonight as we unveil some new games for the IndieCab!

With your generous donations we'll be able to pay grantwriters to help us get more money, plan much nicer events, buy equipment that we can loan out to people in need, and so much more

In the past we've raised and donated $30k for Hurricane Ida relief, we've redirected donated computer equipment to a fledgling, local game studio, Ghost Garden Games, and most recently we've begun a series of free classes at the New Orleans Public Library. We also run a bi-weekly Show N Tell event at Sea Cave Arcade, a monthly meetup series, and host seasonal Game Jams including the New Orleans Global Game Jam.
