Below is the latest info I have on arrangements for Cathy Boteler Boyle from Cathy's church, St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson, Mississippi.

Our sister-in-Christ, Cathy Boyle died Monday, November 3 at her home.
Cathy is survived by her son, Michael and her mother, Jeannette Walker and a host of family and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm with internment in the Columbarium followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. A visitation will take place at 1:00 pm. Let us give thanks for the gift of Cathy's life and faithful witness, and hold her friends and family in our hearts and prayers.

Memorial Service for Byron Greco is today, Wednesday, October 7, at 4:00 PM in Mason Park, followed by reception/get together at John and Lucy Helveston’s following. John and Lucy live on 18th Street which runs from 7th Ave to 5th Ave.thru Mason Park

A family memorial service will be held in Houston at a latter date.

What a lovely ceremony celebrating the life of B.Michael Howard and his years at Tulane University. Beautiful music and memories were shared plus I got to catch up with several Laurel folks!

There is no “official” Friday night event but If you are in Laurel Friday evening, June 17, stop by the Laurel Country Club at 6:00pm (or later) and pick up your name tags/ registration info while enjoying drinks and/or dinner with classmates! 9:00 Tour of Laurel Historic District

Join us for a morning tour of Laurel’s Historic Distict lead by George Bassi, executive director of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art. George conducts a fabulous tour and you will learn amazing facts about the historic homes in Laurel. The tour will begin at LRMA and will last about 1-1/2 hours.

Immediately following the walking tour

Liquid refreshments will be served at the home of Billy and Betty Taylor, 1003 North 6th Avenue.

Dress: Cool and comfortable for walking a few blocks!

SATURDAY AFTERNOON On Your Own to Explore your 'Home Town'!

Head downtown for lunch on your own or with a group at one of the new restaurants. After lunch visit the shops that have opened as a result of the popularity of HGTV's program Home Town.
