As the last bits of shaving cream roll off Michael Lupin Field we look ahead to next week as we prepare for Newman's Commencement Ceremony to honor the Class of 2026! We are excited to celebrate your accomplishments, Greenies! 🐊

Newman Middle School students turned their classroom into an explorative History Museum this week, proudly displaying their projects which showcased topics in United States history from the 1760s-1860s . Great work, Greenies!

For more than a century, Newman students have climbed the steps of the iconic Jefferson Building each morning carrying books, ideas, aspirations, and bonds that shape their lives. Opened in 1903, the Jefferson Building is the cornerstone of Isidore Newman School. After 122 years of continuous use we are excited to announce the next chapter in this historic building's story!

Earlier this week Chef Alon Shaya spent the afternoon making pancakes with the Little Chefs of Green Trees. Together, they separated the wet and dry ingredients, carefully measured each item, and mixed everything into a delicious pancake batter. These Greenies were thrilled to taste the finished product and proudly enjoy the pancakes they helped create. A big thank you to Chef Alon for generously sharing his talents and making the experience memorable for all!

Newman welcomed a very special guest to this year's Pre-K Art Show: New Orleans artist Terrance Osborne! These young artists excitedly shared their work with the visiting artist, along with family and friends. 🖌️🐊

Newman 6th grade Earth Science students polished off their presentation skills while sharing their geological interpretations of U.S. National Parks via trifold and diorama's to fellow students, families, and friends this afternoon. Great work, Greenies!

Congratulations to Isidore Newman School's Varsity Baseball team on winning the 2026 LHSAA Division III Select State Championship! The Greenies' spectacular title run ended an outstanding 30-8 season and marked the program's third state championship in school history and their first since 2003. ⚾🐊
