During World War II, more than one-third of Army recruits who were turned away were rejected for poor nutrition. ⁣

After the war, the head of the Draft Board delivered passionate testimony to Congress framing malnutrition as a threat to national security. The argument caught on and the National School Lunch Program was created in 1946.⁣

The program now feeds half of the students (AKA potential soldiers) in the United States.⁣

In 1892, a Christian Socialist pastor named Francis Bellamy wrote the Pledge of Allegiance as a scheme to sell American Flags to public schools. He sold 26,000 flags.⁣

For 40 years, children recited the pledge while saluting the flag with “the right hand extended gracefully, palm upward, toward the Flag.” ⁣

The salute was changed when the N**i Party adopted the same salute.⁣

George Washington was killed by medical malpractice. On December 13, 1799, George Washington showed signs of a bad cold. To cure him, doctors drained 40 percent of his blood and prescribed medicines. The medicines were actually toxic chemicals that caused throat blisters, violent vomiting, and explosive diarrhea. Washington died the next day.⁣

The former president feared being buried alive. His final instructions were, “Do not let my body be put into the vault in less than three days after I am dead.”⁣

Joice Heth was an enslaved, elderly black woman whom a young P.T. Barnum bought and displayed as the 161-year-old former nurse of George Washington. Joice was actually in her eighties, but Barnum forcibly pulled her remaining teeth to make her look older. Heth made Barnum a small fortune telling stories about “little George” and singing a hymn.⁣

When she died in 1836, Barnum charged 50 cents admission to watch her autopsy.⁣

And it’s getting worse. Critical Race Theory is the new boogie man. Politicians are making it illegal to discuss racism in school. Some people are terrified of talking about our country’s racist history and how we are still experiencing its effects. They are afraid of the truth. ⁣
