What an unforgettable experience at the 75th National Convention of the National Association of University Women, Inc. in Philadelphia!

The New Orleans Branch was honored to join our sisters from across the nation for several days of fellowship, leadership, and purpose. Together, we celebrated the power of unity and sisterhood while strengthening our commitment to the mission of NAUW.

We are especially proud to congratulate our very own Dr. Rosalind Hale on being named National Woman of the Year. What a well-deserved honor! Your dedication, leadership, and service continue to inspire us all.

As delegates, we also had the privilege of participating in the adoption of our organization’s new national bylaws, helping shape the future of NAUW for generations to come.

Our hearts are full, our spirits are renewed, and we return home inspired and ready for another year of meaningful service in our communities.

Congratulations, Dr. Hale, and Sister Betty W. Wilkerson, our newest Forever Emerald! Thank you, Philadelphia, for the memories! 💚🤍✨

NAUW New Orleans at Sister Strut!

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, members of the National Association of University Women – New Orleans Branch proudly participated in the Sister Strut in New Orleans.

Walking together in support of breast cancer awareness and survivorship, our sisters showed up in unity, strength, and sisterhood. Events like Sister Strut remind us of the power of community as we uplift survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and continue advocating for education, early detection, and support for women and families impacted by breast cancer.

Thank you to everyone who walked, supported, and represented NAUW with pride. When women come together with purpose, we make a difference!
