I'm experimenting with some new ideas on live feedback for field/shop workers, so I figured I'd just ship this prototype right now....

AR$ 6-axis robot.
This is a great project from Chris Annin of Robotics. Lots of schools use this to introduce robotics. It's a legit bot that I plan to use for photogroaphy, welding and real work in my shop/lab. And it's accessible - price and quality of curriculum - for HS college and even middle schoolers.

Fiat Zero.
My electric conversion of a 1969 Fiat. I'm using the drivetrain from a used EV motorcycle. I'm exploring the second life of EVs and their batteries. Also curious about projects like this as entry point for careers in EV repair, maintenance, design. Shout out to ChargerHelp! and ventures shops plug and amber for doing the work that I think we need to train lots of kids for soon.

One of my favorite podcasts, Catalyst with Shayle Kann, just dropped a terrific episode with one of the only people in the world with V2X in their job title, General Motor’s Ty Jagerson. It’s a great intro to this fascinating topic, and Ty does a great job making this topic real. Unlike many folks just talking about this, Ty’s running actual V2X pilots with real GM drivers.
