Ouch. 😝 I have really made a conscious attempt to call myself out when I start to judge something or someone. It’s not easy but you can really grow when you can recognize and call out your bias. Happy Friday!

Do you ever catch yourself trying to compare your experiences when someone is trying to tell you a story about themself? I do it. But I’m growing out of it! It robs the empathy that you can offer as a listener. Test it out for yourself. 😉

Quick 3 ingredient yummy dinner option (excluding spices)!
Chicken
Pico de gallo
Chipotle lime mayo
Cook chicken w your fav spices. Mix together w mayo and pico and this makes yummy chicken salad! Eat by it self, throw on top greens or a quick wrap or your favorite (clean 😉) bread! Frig the leftovers for quick grab and go later! Delish!!

Good vibes only. Sometimes this hits me as toxic positivity. Dismissing the true negative emotions. But now when I see “good vibes only” though I use this to reflect on what vibes I want to reflect out from my authentic self. What energy am I choosing to embody at the moment. It may not be all good at the moment but I know that in my core, there are only good vibes. I trust that even though I don’t always feel them, they are there. ✌🏼 YOU have all the good vibes in YOU too! 🤗

If it’s at home or work, we sometimes feel under appreciated. Or not appreciated at all. It makes it really hard to be motivated to go to work when you don’t feel appreciated. I know this sounds a little less intuitive, but try it out! Show more appreciation for the simple, little things around you. It will come back around. And you will feel good showing appreciation to others too.

Sometimes it takes a little momentum to get it going… and sometimes we feel the burn from a hard workout! But the countless benefits of a small amount of exercise each day are a great payoff! Heart health, reduce stress, mood booster, energy burst, improve memory, increase productivity, tap into creativity! Just to name a few…. Essentially your efficiency of practice improves by adding a little exercise into each day! Bring on the goodness!

As we start off 2023 I wanted to reflect on kindness and how I can offer more of it to the people around me.
I sometimes struggle with always wanted to prove myself right when I think my way of thinking is the right and best way (do you ever feel the same?). It's the "people pleaser" problem that I am grown out of. Proving myself "right" is sometimes selfish and not kind.
As hard as it might sound, in 2023 instead of arguing a point to prove yourself right, try serving up some kindness with a slice of humility. Everyone will leave the conversation winning.
