241st MPAD - Louisiana National Guard

Calcasieu Parish educator promoted to general in La. National Guard After 29 years of military service, Louisiana National Guardsman Damian “Keith” Waddell was promoted to the rank of brigadier general during an official ceremony at Camp Beauregard in Pineville, August 10.

The 241st today participated in the 4th annual Hero Hump in Baton Rouge, where we helped transport 11,000 American flags in a 6-mile ruck march from Memorial Tower at LSU to the state capitol grounds, where each flag will be planted in remembrance of a fallen Louisiana military member.
