Corruption is cruel, but kindness can be the currency to overcome it.
In a matter of moments, my thriving reality was disrupted by lies, greed and deceit in the marketplace and some personal spaces. My being attacked, identity almost hijacked, and sitting in the midst of what felt like shambles that I didn’t sign up for.
I was confused and disappointed by what took place, the players involved and the response (or lack there of) where I expected there to be.
When you’re used to winning and you take an l, it takes a different strategy and response to overcome. Defeat is not permanent nor is it an option.
Fortunately, the darkness had to give way to the light. I was pleasantly surprised and reminded about the goodness of God and the goodness that still is in humanity despite was an attempt to distract, derail and take over my life.
When it seems like hope is lost and everything is crumbling, recall your vision, your why, moments where things well, and let that propel you forward.
I’m a living witness that was meant for evil can work out of good and there is light at the end of whatever tunnel. Better things are present and coming.
Thank you to anyone who has been a light, a spark or a beam during what seemed like insurmountable mountain. The mountain gave way. The good you put out will come back to you.
