Parents - If you think there’s an issue, there probably is….

I tell students to add one tiny word to their response...When they answer " I don't know", I tell them to add
"YET". I don't know, yet. Because not knowing isn't the problem. Once you KNOW you don't know, you can seek the answers.

The power of mindset...

For over 3 decades, parent have been asking for help when their child is struggling in school. More often than not, no one was taking them seriously - until after 3rd grade. In the last few years, schools are beginning to acknowledge the importance of early intervention. Now it's time to support parents as the most important partners in a child's success.

You must put on your own oxygen mask first in order to succeed. It may sound selfish, but once you realize that your ability to love others is fueled by your ability to love yourself, the game changes radically.

Scrabble, Words with Friends, Wordle, whatever your choice - playing with your words is more fun than playing with your food. I've been a crossword puzzle type of learner all my life. If it challenges me, but allows me to be successful as I learn, I'm all in.

Your kids are watching you for direction.
Begin each day with a conscious intention to support your child's success. Recognize and celebrate your child's gifts. Celebrate small wins every day. Appreciate the joy of learning.
