This past semester, we hosted our annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition where PhD students had only 3 minutes and 1 slide to present their research to a panel of judges. The 2025 Grand Winner is Jill Love and People’s Choice is Anindita Barua.

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s 3MT Competition and to our presenters for sharing their incredible research!
This year’s grand prize winner is Ade Adegbite, with his presentation, “Yoruba Proverbs as a Tool for Reversing Language Shift.” Ade will go on to represent Tulane at the regional competition in March at the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools (CSGS).
Additionally, Taylor Marcus earned the People’s Choice Award for her presentation, “Investigating the Self-Face Bias.”
Congratulations to both winners, and thank you to all who made this event a success!
