We couldn't be more excited to be hitting the road tomorrow, particularly as this tour coincides with the anniversary of our very first one in 2014! We're grateful to close out the year sharing this special, beautiful show we've honed over the past 10 years with you all, and to be performing it together. Acting Opportunities 💡

The Actors Apothecary 🎭 will be hosting a weekly
scene study for all actors.*
This class will be led by your peers. Bring in your own material. All levels are welcomed and all levels are strongly encouraged to participate. The veteran actor always has something to learn, and should constantly be sharpening their tools. Newer actors will greatly benefit from working with those who have been in the industry for years.

*Novice or first time actors-we suggest taking a few structured classes before signing up for this one.

‼️ For the month of August 2024-Sign ups will open a week in advance and each class will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Sign Ups closed the Monday before class.

-Educational touring show for elementary schools in New Orleans

-Sketch comedy show about Energy Conservation

-Rehearsals in Minneapolis, MN from 2/18-2/24

-Availability needed for shows would be weekdays 2/26-3/22 around Greater New Orleans

-Travel to and from Minneapolis for rehearsal provided

-Housing provided for rehearsal

-No overnight stays, home every night

-Rehearsals paid as a $450 stipend

-Daily Rate for performance $100/day

80% of actor’s call back sessions include some form of improv. Even if it’s a dramatic piece. It’s so important to be able to improvise within your character because you never know what caliber of scene partner or Director you’re going to be working with!
This workshop will help keep tools in your pocket for when that time comes. And did we mention the confidence it will build for you!
This is for all of you who keep asking us to put on improv classes and for all of those who want to get on stage at the Apothecary with Meet Me Halfway! The best way is through participation.

Mary Guiteras and Grace Blakeman are at the top level of improv in New Orleans. We are so thrilled to have them as our newest teachers at the Actors Apothecary.
