As a bartender, event planner and entrepreneur, Tara’s career has spanned from Atlanta to D.C., but her journey has been equally focused on enriching the community and putting the stories that deserve to be heard at the forefront.
Specifically centered on the BIPOC/LGBTQ+ bar community, Tara’s efforts and outreach led her to become the Multicultural Brand Portfolio Ambassador for BACARDÍ. Ever since, Tara has built a movement that continues to bridge the disconnect of minorities in the bar community. “My favorite accomplishments have been the words of encouragement I receive from people who have been impacted or inspired by my story,” mentions Tara, which is why she continues to spread the word throughout the country, resonating with the gifted communities that have been underrepresented for so long. At just 18 years old, Bryan Bonifacio witnessed the art of flair bartending for the first time. Today, Bryan is an award-winning bartender, the reigning National Cocktail Competition Flair Champion and the Bar Manager at Employees Only Singapore. Bryan's came when he was named the first filipino to receive a Principal Bartender Jacket at Employees Only. For him, it's an inspiration to his fellow filipinos and junior bartenders that with hard work and perseverance, any bar dream is in within reach.
