Who says chickens don’t eat grass?! 😂

This is why we move the chicken tractor every day—fresh pasture for the hens and time for the grazed area to rest and recover. And, of course, Boaz was there to supervise. 🐓🌱🐾

Fresh pasture. Fresh food. Fresh eggs. 🌱🥚

We move our chicken tractor, giving our hens fresh grass, bugs, sunshine, and room to forage. They also enjoy garden produce and safe kitchen leftovers that would otherwise go to compost.

The result: healthy, active hens and fresh eggs with rich, creamy yolks.

And Boaz, our livestock guardian dog, made sure he got some camera time too. 🐾
