Join us this Sunday, July 13, 10 AM – 4 PM for our Wild Earth Sisters Retreat. Spend a day in the woods, foraging, crafting, practicing primitive skills, and connecting with a circle of amazing women. Take a break from your busy schedule and rest in the healing powers of the cool green forest. No to-do list, devices, people needing your attention. You will be treated to delicious milkweed fritters, sautéed wild greens, delights from my organic garden, and a wade through the cooling waters of the Konkapot River. There’s no other place to be. Want to strengthen your survival fire making skills? Join me this Friday, October 25, 10–2 Berkshire South Regional Community Center for a free fire making workshop. Together, we will learn the art of making the perfect one match fire from the natural materials that surround us in the forest. We will enjoy our lunch and stories around the campfire we create and explore the woods and all it has to offer us this time of year. The weather looks perfect for a fire on Friday.

Join me next Wednesday August 21, 10-2, as we wander and explore the wild edible and medicinal plants that we live side by side with.

Knowing the plants that you live with, in all seasons, is a powerful way to connect to the natural world, heal the Earth and ourselves, and live sustainably and in harmony with the world. Let Tes, passionate naturalist, gifted guide and experienced forager, lead you on an exploration of the amazing plants that make their home all around us. Together we delve into the world of wild edible plants, many of which have medicinal properties. There is an incredible bounty of the most nutritious food available right outside our door. We will explore, identify, gather, and prepare delights of the forest for our culinary enjoyment and health.
