Let's welcome our newest teacher to Walnut Grove School! (5th Grade)

Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Markham, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Walnut Grove family as a first-year 5th grade teacher! I’m proud to be a hometown Bulldog—I grew up right here in Meridianville, Alabama, and even walked these same halls as a Walnut Grove student.

After earning my associate degree from Southern Union State Community College, I continued my journey at Athens State University, where I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Teaching has always been my dream, and I’m incredibly excited to begin this new adventure with all of you.

I can’t wait for a year full of learning, growth, and fun! Let’s make it amazing together! 🎉📚✨
