Back to School Info ⬇️

Raider Family,
We are looking forward to a great school year! Class lists will be posted at the front of the school on Friday, July 28th at 4 PM. Students will only be assigned to a class if their PowerSchool enrollment has been completed and all requested documents have been submitted for the 2023-2024 school year.

Below you will find a Back to School/Open House flyer which contains some specific information about our drop-in event on Monday, July 31st. It's "come and go" style so just drop in anytime from 4:00 to 6:00.

There will also be some Chromebooks available in the library for you to complete the Free and Reduced Meals Application if you have not already done so. Students will need to apply for free and reduced lunch in order to receive free/ reduced lunch. A new application must be completed each year.

Kindergarten Orientation will be in the cafeteria tonight. We will do a quick 10-15 minute presentation, and then you can visit your child’s classroom. See you tonight! 5-5:30 or 6-6:30

**VERY IMPORTANT**
Our school is working on car rider tags. Please fill out this form if your child will be a car rider (even if it's just occasionally.) If you had a car rider tag last year, please fill out the form again, so that it can be adjusted from PK to K. If you complete this form before next Tuesday, we will have your car tag ready at Orientation! :) Thanks!!

If your child attended Pre-K last year, you will be able to enroll June 21. If you are new to our school, you are able to enroll now.

PowerSchool Enrollment for ALL students RETURNING to MCSS (grades PK-12) will open on June 21. We will begin emailing Snap Code letters on Friday, June 18. All returning students must be enrolled by July 30, 2021 in order to receive a schedule when school begins. Please contact the registrar at your child's school if you need assistance or have questions.

If your child is planning on attending NMS Kindergarten next year, you are able to purchase a Supply Kit. Please see the attached form for the list of school supplies and info regarding the optional kit. We will continue take orders until the end of June! :)
