We are proud to recognize three outstanding FBLA members who represented our chapter at the State Leadership Conference in Springfield, Missouri this year.

Accompanied by Mr. Howell and Ms. Eddy, these students demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and strong business skills throughout the competition. One of our members advanced to the final round of a Business Workshop Challenge—an impressive accomplishment at the state level.

The photos capture highlights from the experience, including the state awards ceremony and the three students who represented our school with excellence.

Congratulations to these FBLA members for their hard work and achievement. We are proud of how they represented our chapter and look forward to their continued success.

The afternoon Criminal Justice class was joined by students from Health Occupations and Teaching Pathways classes for Stop The Bleed training recently. The students earned a certificate for completion of the course. They are now armed with valuable knowledge of how to help someone in a trauma or crisis situation. A huge THANK YOU to Jamie Keller, Trauma Program Coordinator and Billi Colyer, ED Educator from St. Francis Healthcare for investing their time in our students!

Welding students made roses that were cut out of a sheet of flat metal, utilizing the CNC Plasma cutting table. Rose form was designed on a computer first, then loaded into the CNC machine and cut out to shapes and various sizes of petals. They then cleaned and prepared the metal and affixed to a twisted metal stem that was both decorative and strong. Petals were welded to the stem in a rotated pattern to make the rose more life like. Then students bent the petals one by one with pliers to form the rose body. I think some of them had plans to give as gifts back during Valentines to their special someone. Great job kids!

Welding class was asked by fellow TSC Graphics Arts instructor if we could come up with a clever way to store and organize their 4 and 6 ft rolls of vinyl that is used to make banners. Students went to the drawing board and came up with this cart. Students did a great job of laying it all out and even figuring out a way to make it eye appealing and gain a few more spots for extra rolls. Students from Gideon sending school built this project and showed great team work.

Congratulations!!
