Basketball skills were on full display during our Boys Basketball Camps this summer!

Under the guidance of Williams Boys Varsity Basketball coach Miles Daniels, campers developed their skills through age-appropriate instruction, drills, activities, and live play. Younger players focused on the fundamentals of ball handling, passing, shooting, movement, and defense, while middle-school-aged players sharpened their shooting mechanics, ball control, defensive principles, and decision-making.

Throughout both sessions, campers strengthened their coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and confidence in a structured and supportive environment.

Thank you to all of our campers, instructors, and coaches for making it a great summer at Williams!

Campers took aim at a new skill during our new Archery for Beginners camp this week!

Under the guidance of instructor Roxanne Cislak, campers explored the parts of the bow and learned how each component contributes to a successful shot. They also practiced standard safety rules, whistle commands, and the 11-step shot process outlined by USA Archery.

Throughout the week, campers spent plenty of time behind the bow, strengthening their technique, building confidence, and putting their new skills into action. Once they mastered the fundamentals, they had the opportunity to keep score and take aim at a variety of fun targets.

The program begins with foundational slow-speed skills before progressing to trail riding, with on-bike games and friendly competitions that help campers put their new skills into practice along the way.
