Registration is open for the State 4-H Public Speaking Contest!
Use the link below to register now for the state contest on September 26th in Columbia, MO. Youth can register to compete in prepared, extemporaneous, technology assisted, interpretation, or business pitch. Registration is $12 and closes on August 31st.

The Missouri State Fair kicks off this week with Mizzou Day on Aug. 13. Celebrations include the opening ceremony featuring state leaders and special appearances from Truman and Mizzou students, faculty and staff.

A ribbon-cutting for the renovated 4-H building will highlight the day, along with an exciting announcement that will expand opportunities for Missouri 4-H members and create new pathways for rural students to become Mizzou Tigers.

Deadline extended to August 7th!

As a part of fundraising for the hosting of the National Conference for 4-H Professionals in Kansas City this fall, MAE4-HYDP is selling 4-H totes!
They are light-weight and easy to wash out making them versatile and handy. Bags are $40 each and can be ordered through the Google Form Below. Bags will be dispersed to counties following the late October conference- check with your 4-H professional to see if they will be attending and can help in relaying your tote to the local extension office.
If you are looking for options for recognition or even Christmas presents, consider a 4-H tote bag!

Summer may not be over yet, but it is time to start planning for our next regional event! THe tentative date has been set for November 14th from 9 am- 1 pm in Macon, so now we need YOU!

Join us on Zoom Thursday, August 27th at 6 pm to help plan the event!

We need ideas of what sessions members, clover kids, and adults want to see AND folks who are willing to help in leading them!
