🌿🐾 RMMS 5th graders are engaging in Project-Based Learning as they investigate New London’s changing landscape. Students are exploring the environment through multiple perspectives, researching native plants and animals, and connecting their learning to the community. Next, they’ll identify an environmental challenge and design a solution! 🌎💡

🚀🎶 RMMS blasted off with Sonic Spaceship!

As part of our work as a Higher Order Thinking (HOT) School, our students experienced an energetic, interactive performance with teaching artist Galush through Sonic Spaceship! Students explored how the voice can become an instrument through beatboxing, live vocals, technology, and electronic music—all while creating, experimenting, moving, and participating in the performance. 🎤🎛️✨

Experiences like this bring the arts to life and give our Knights opportunities to learn through creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and joyful participation.
