The New London Rotary Club is pleased to welcome Andy Bone as our guest speaker on Monday, August 10, at 12:00 p.m. at the New London United Methodist Church (58 E. Main St.).

Andy serves as Chairman of MESA (Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad Foundation) and has dedicated his Rotary service to advancing life-changing international humanitarian projects. His presentation will highlight how Rotary members are making a global impact by delivering critical medical equipment and improving healthcare in communities around the world.

The New London Rotary Firelands Festival Parade is shaping up to be one of our biggest celebrations yet, and we want YOU to be part of it!

We’re inviting businesses, community organizations, civic groups, churches, youth organizations, athletic teams, car clubs, marching units, horse groups, families, and individuals to register for this year’s parade.

This year’s theme celebrates two incredible milestones:
⭐ 250 Years of American Freedom
⭐ 100 Years of New London Rotary Service

Whether you plan to march, decorate a float, showcase classic vehicles, or simply represent your organization, we’d love to have you join us as we celebrate our community.

📅 Parade Date: Saturday, September 5, 2026
🕐 Step Off: 1:00 p.m.

📝 Pre-register today using the attached entry form, or register the day of the parade between Noon and 12:45 p.m. just east of Dollar General (look for the parade signs).

Rotary is at its best when it brings people together to share ideas, build friendships, and celebrate our history.

At this week’s New London Rotary luncheon, we were honored to welcome Mayor Toby Thomas for an engaging Q&A session on issues impacting our community. Thank you, Mayor Thomas, for taking the time to answer questions and share your perspective.

We were also treated to a special surprise visit from former Rotarian Gene Shepherd, who was a member of our club during its 50th Anniversary celebration. Gene shared stories and reflections spanning the past five decades, reminding us of the friendships, service, and traditions that have shaped New London Rotary into the organization it is today.

As we continue celebrating our 100th Anniversary, moments like these remind us that while much has changed over the years, our commitment to Service Above Self remains as strong as ever.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another memorable Rotary luncheon. Here’s to honoring our past while continuing to serve our community for generations to come.
