Dear Families,

Mark your calendars for 08/28/2026, we will be partnering with the Domino's Pizza Slice the Price program for a fundraiser everyone will enjoy! The proceeds of this fundraiser will support equipment, school supplies, and to support functions for the students and staff!

Slice the Price Card:

With the card, every time you purchase a large pizza at Domino’s, you will receive another large pizza FREE! Buy 10, Get 10 FREE!
The cost of the card is just $20, and our group profits $10 for every card sold!
Use the card as many times as you would like until the card expires 06/30/2027!
Cards will be sold from 08/28/2026-09/11/2026.
When a customer buys a card through your online store, it will be shipped directly to them! If they purchase one card, the shipping fee is only .99 cents.
Earn a free card for every 15 you sell and free customizable matching t-shirts for the team when 15 people hit this goal!
Compete for $50 Gift Cards, $100 Gift Cards, AND $100 in Bonus Cash for our group!

NSMS PTO decided this year we wanted to do more for our students! Our 1st project was helping the staff stock the student closets on each hall along with helping stock the guidance counselor’s closet!! We provided many personal care items, school supplies & snacks. Kids can’t pay attention & learn if they are hungry (we are thankful that they receive free breakfast & lunch but sometimes kids are still hungry) or in need of a personal care item! We hope this helps the students throughout the year!!

☄️☄️☄️NSMS PTO started off the year with setting up a breakfast for the staff’s 1st day back!! Bojangles, fruit, OJ & iced coffee bar!!☄️☄️☄️

WOW!!! Open House at NSMS did NOT disappoint!! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, signed up to help with PTO & to all who purchased spirit wear & Comet tumblers today!!!
Our online store is open & offers more clothing than what we are able to carry in house! Short sleeved & long sleeved tshirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, sport tek shirts & raglan shirts!! Check the comments for the online store link! We are looking into adding a few new items…..
We look forward to another fun year of supporting our students & staff!! We are planning a few surprises for students this year!! They will have to be in good standing with the NSMS conduct requirements for the activities we are planning.
PTO supports students during the year by assisting with quarterly Comet Champ reward activities, Comet Store items, staff lunches (more on that to come!), running the concession stand during indoor home events & assisting with classroom needs. This year we plan to start helping stock the closet/pantries that staff members have for students!
Speaking of lunches!!! If anyone has a business or works for a business, we would LOVE to work with you on getting some of the staff lunches sponsored!! Please reach out through this post or through messenger. I will be sure to get back with you quickly and assist with the lunch in any way possible!
We look forward to helping with dances this year! Be on the lookout for a Back to School dance once we can work it into the school schedule!
Again- THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our table this morning & evening! It was great seeing old friends along with many new faces!! Here’s to a fabulous 2026-2027 school year!!

NSMS PTO will have a table at Open House during both AM & PM sessions!! Stop on by the table to grab your Spirit wear & Comet Tumbler to start the year off right!! We’d love to have you join the PTO!! We have a lot of fun stuff planned for this year!!
Special pricing for in person sales with online shopping after open house!!
We are able to accept cash & card payments!!

What an amazing morning for the send off for the 8th graders at North Stanly Middle School!!! The PTO sponsored breakfast including biscuits from Richfield Bojangles, granola bars, fresh fruit, waters & Gatorades! Getting to see the looks of surprise as they entered their hall & seeing the setup was fun!!! This group was very appreciative with on point manners!!!
Not only were we having a send off for the 8th graders, but a retirement celebration for Mrs. Hart!!! After 30 years, she’s decided to take a bit of a break! Mrs. Wittman (7th grade) & Mrs. Funderburk (Librarian) also celebrated their last day of school as they retired as well! I forgot to get a pic of them to include so if anyone got one today, please feel free to add it in the comments!!

Day 3 of Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week was coffee, donuts, mini muffins, cookies & a fruit tray! This was provided by the PTO along with Sandra Hinson from Second Street Sundries!!! Who doesn’t need a little caffeine & sugar to start off the 1st day of EOGs?!?!

Day 2 of Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week being on 🇲🇽Cinco de Mayo🇲🇽…. A 🌮 bar lunch it was!!! A huge THANK YOU to Larry & Pokie Noland (grandparents of) and David & Brittany Blalock (parents of Peighton 7th grade)!!
Taco bar lunch from Famosos & Sweet Shop cookies for dessert!! Lunch served by Jennifer Stokes & Melissa Bost.
