Christ the King Christian Academy (CTKCA) is a Christ-centered school, equipping and developing students to effectively integrate Bible Truth and learning into their daily lives and impact the culture for Christ. CTKCA began its ministry in August of 1999. In 2005 it moved to its present location at 210 North Ferry Road, New London, NC. CTKCA sits on 58 acres of rolling hills. There is plenty of r

oom for the students to get exercise and explore the world that God created, and room for future expansion. The facility is handicap accessible and includes 10 classrooms, a media center and lunchroom. The school accommodates Kindergarten through 12th grade.Christ the King Christian Academy is affordable at only $340 per month for ten months. There is a one-time $300 enrollment fee, but no re-enrollment, book, or testing fees. There is an additional charge for after-school care and lunches if ordered. Only 7 miles (10 minutes) from downtown Albemarle, we are ideally located to serve the children and youth of Stanly County and surrounding areas.

It saddens our hearts to announce the passing of a very dear friend and a special teacher, Mrs. LeaAnn Buckwell. She passed Wednesday morning, April 22, yet is alive and well in the presence of our Lord and Sav-ior Jesus Christ. Please pray for Randy Buckwell and their family during this time. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 2nd at Faith Lutheran Church in Faith, NC, with visitation from 2 to 4, followed by the ser-vice. Internment will follow the service at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Rimer, NC. Randy Buckwell has requested that flowers not be given in her honor rather that memorials be given to the school.
