New London High School carries with it responsibilities. The manner in which you conduct yourself must ensure a positive environment for all who study and work here. As a part of the NLHS family, it is absolutely essential that you treat your teachers and classmates with courtesy and respect; adhere to school rules and regulations; and express your opinions and suggestions in a constructive manner. You may participate in sports and extracurricular activities, but give your studies top priority. Be a person who gives his or her best in all you do. The pride that we take in ourselves will make us proud to be a part of the larger whole that is the NLHS family.

🔨⚓ Electric Boat Signing Day Celebrates NLHSMMC Seniors ⚓🔨

Last night at the Garde Arts Center, more than 20 seniors from the NLHS Multi-Magnet Campus were officially recognized for accepting career opportunities with General Dynamics Electric Boat.

The celebration featured remarks from Congressman Joe Courtney and Electric Boat President Mark Rayha, who both spoke about the tremendous opportunities available to these students and the critical role they will play in the future workforce.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of hard hats to each student, color-coded to represent the positions for which they were hired. These hard hats symbolized not only their future careers, but also the hard work, perseverance, and dedication that brought them to this moment.

Shortly after graduating on June 18, these students will begin their careers with Electric Boat, demonstrating the power of career-connected learning and the incredible opportunities available through our magnet pathways and community partnerships.

We are incredibly proud of these seniors and grateful to Electric General Dynamics Electric Boat, our educators, and families for helping make this achievement possible. Congratulations to all of our future shipbuilders, engineers, designers, and skilled trades professionals—we can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

🎓 Congratulations to the newest members of the National Honor Society at the New London High School Multi-Magnet Campus!

Tonight, we proudly celebrated the induction of 8 outstanding students into the NHS during a special ceremony held in the STEM Lecture Hall. These students have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character — the four pillars of the National Honor Society.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to both academics and their school community. Their achievements reflect the strength and opportunities available within the NLHS Multi-Magnet Campus pathways.
