Attention all Special Education Advocates, Surrogate Parents and Community Parent Support Professionals
(This group is for non-attorney advocates)

Join us for the kickoff meeting of this FREE
Virtual Learning Community

This learning community will bring together special education advocates and other professionals who support families at PPTs. Participants will help identify priorities and guide the community’s focus as it develops. The group will offer opportunities to network, process problems of practice and stay up to date on changes in special education in Connecticut.

Le invitamos a conocer a nuestras Consultoras Bilingües para Padres y a ayudarnos a crear una comunidad de apoyo y aprendizaje para las familias que están navegando el sistema educativo de Connecticut.

Sus experiencias, preguntas e ideas son importantes. Queremos escuchar de usted:
¿Qué preguntas tiene sobre la educación de su hijo/a?
¿Qué desafíos están enfrentando usted o su hijo/a en la escuela?
¿Qué temas ayudarían a que tu familia se sintiera más informado/a y apoyado/a ?
Juntos seleccionaremos los temas para futuras sesiones de aprendizaje para familias.

Los temas pueden incluir:
Desafíos de comportamiento
Entender los servicios de educación especial
Ayudar a los niños a aprender a leer
Preocupaciones sobre el progreso académico
Esta es una oportunidad para conectarse con otras familias y ayudarnos a crear talleres que realmente respondan a sus necesidades.
