What a great day in New London!

We had a TON of participants join us this morning for Walk, Wheel, Bike to School Day! It was wonderful to see so many students getting outside, moving, and enjoying the morning together.

The learning didn’t stop when students arrived at school! During PE, students continued building on the safety lesson taught by our local law enforcement officers. Mr. Burns set up a hands-on traffic activity where students practiced what they learned and put their safety knowledge into action.

A HUGE thank you to Annie Powell, our school counselor, for planning and organizing this event! We also appreciate the New London Police Department and Henry County Sheriff’s Office for helping keep our students safe, and Mr. Burns for providing meaningful opportunities for students to practice these important skills.

Parents, we want to see your pictures, too! Share your photos from this morning in the comments below so we can celebrate all the fun and great participation!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this such a successful day for our Tigers and our community! 🖤💛

A Fresh Look Around the Flagpole!

Mr. May and the Home Improvement students recently gave the area around our flagpole a landscaping refresh! They cleaned up the space and added stone to create a clean, finished look.

We love seeing our students put their skills to work and make a difference around our school! Thank you!

Today we’re celebrating the coaches who support our teachers and help strengthen learning across New London Community School District!

A big thank you to our PreK–12 Instructional Coach, Tori Kenel, our Literacy Coach, Becky Ahern, and our Math Coach, Tina Garrett!

From supporting classroom instruction and curriculum to helping teachers analyze student data, plan lessons, strengthen literacy and math practices, problem-solve challenges, and try new ideas, these coaches are valuable thought partners for our teachers.

We appreciate the knowledge, encouragement, collaboration, and fresh perspectives they bring to our schools. Their work helps support our teachers so they can continue doing what they do best: helping our students learn and grow.
