🐄💙 Showing dairy cattle at the county fair is about so much more than ribbons and banners. Through early mornings, long days, hard work, and dedication, our FFA members are building character that will last a lifetime. 🌟

These students have demonstrated responsibility, perseverance, sportsmanship, and pride in a job well done. Whether in the show ring or behind the scenes caring for their animals, they represent the very best of agriculture and our community. 🌽🐮

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, growth, and leadership our students have shown throughout fair week. The lessons learned in the barn go far beyond the fairgrounds—they help shape confident, hardworking young leaders for the future. 💪💛💙

Last FFA members, Gavin, Colby, Lucy, and Grady went to UW Madison for the state CDE contest in Milk PRODUCTS.

THE RESULTS are in and they placed 30th! Highlights include Grady placing 68th out of 140 students!

Yesterday FFA members attended the UW Platteville Regional CDE contests.

The Wildlife team consisting of Grady Barknecht, Gavin Neitzel, Dylan Jerdee and Ryan Sawyer placed 29th!

The Dairy Products team consisting of Olivia Bunker, Lucy Bell, Colby Pfaff, and Gavin Gesler placed 6th out of 38 teams and qualified for the STATE CONTEST! Shout out to Gavin for placing 10th out of 134 students!

Mrs. Dorn's Wildlife Ecology class finished their sap adventures today!

We visited Mike at his new shop and watched him boil the sap down to syrup!

Thank you Mike for the learning experience.

Mrs. Dorn's Wildlife Ecology class was invited to spend some class time with Maple Syrup Professional Mike Vinz.

Students learned the process to tap trees and various collection types - bags vs pressurized lines.

Next up - we wait for enough to be collected to boil down! Then we enjoy a pancake lunch!
