On Wednesday August 26 will be our first early release day of the school year. As a reminder, students will be released at 12:52 p.m. and lunch will not be served.

On this day, students will have their yearbook picture taken by Burns Photography during their scheduled lunch/advisory time. Students check your class teams for where to report during this time.

Knight Parents/Guardians- We would like to invite you to “Back to School Night” on Wednesday, August 26th at 5:45 p.m. beginning in the Charles R. Stark Center for the Performing Arts for a brief welcome and overview of the night. The evening is arranged so parents/guardians follow the same schedule that their student has throughout the day. Please arrive early to allow time for parking.

Please print out your student’s schedule from your Skyward account prior to the event. We have set up an abbreviated school day. Each class period will be approximately eight minutes in length with a six-minute passing period. “Zero hour” will begin at 6:05 pm. Please take the opportunity to come “Back to School” and share in this worthwhile experience. Our LWC Link Crew Leaders will be available throughout the hallways to help you as needed!

If you are assigned to an advisory or lunch period, please take time to visit our Athletic Boosters who will be located in the AP room. You can also stop in the library and visit the Central Perk coffee shop and/or Knightly Relics.

We look forward to seeing you next week on Wednesday, August 26th!
