Heather has been teaching piano and voice for over twenty years and is passionate about empowering students to boldly embrace their love of music, which is the mission of Simply Music.

She and her husband Caleb performed more than 1000 live shows with their band Daniel's Window for much of the past two decades. In her role as studio director, Heather is committed to giving each studio family a warm, loving environment where students can thrive.

Heather loves Starbucks, scary movies, Stephen King novels, and travel and resides in Joliet with her husband Caleb and two children, Hayden and Lincoln.

Our Story

What makes Simply Music different? Simply Music offers two ways to develop your child’s love of music:


  • For newborns through age 7, your child will love our Musikgarten classes! In these group classes, we sing, dance, and play simple rhythm instruments to help infants, toddlers, and children develop a deep love of music and the ability to express it.

  • Simply Music also offers private lessons in piano, guitar, violin, and viola. Our teachers don't just teach music; they want to help students achieve their goals and dreams in an encouraging environment. We build social skills, confidence and develop and nurture their talents through performance and learning the art of music.
