Small interactions make a huge impact! 💛🧠

Neural Nugget: Babies who are talked to frequently know about 300 more words by age 2 than babies who hear fewer words, giving them a stronger foundation for language and learning.

One of the best ways to support healthy brain development is through serve-and-return interactions: the back-and-forth of talking, playing, making faces, and responding to your baby's sounds and cues. These everyday moments help build the brain, one interaction at a time.

👋Hi there!
✨ A sweet new season at Yellow House Playschool ✨
We recently welcomed a brand new baby to our daycare family, and our days have been full in the very best way...much slower rhythms, and helping little ones adjust to a new friend, things have looked a little different around here — which is why I haven’t kept up with the recent Tiny Tips Tuesday series. 💛
I also wanted to take a moment to say hello and welcome to all of our newest followers! Our page has grown recently, and I’m so grateful for the increased interest in childcare and in what makes Yellow House Playschool unique.
For those who are new here — I’m the provider behind Yellow House Playschool. I run a small, in-home, nature and play-based program designed especially for young children to learn through exploration, creativity, and connection.
It's my goal to create a calm and joyful space where children can grow at their own pace.
As our community grows, I’m excited to share that more openings are coming soon. If you’ve been following along and wondering about enrollment, stay tuned — I’ll be sharing details in the near future!
