Gifted students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend Gifted Family Night on May 6! See the email from your student's gifted resouce teacher to RSVP for this event or reach out to Ms. Fox, Ms. Gregory, or Ms. Collins.

There will be a special Mad Science program for kids while parents have the opportunity to learn about Executive Functioning in gifted kids from Dr. Ashley Carpenter from William and Mary's Center for Gifted Education.

"Executive Functioning" refers to a set of skills that manage daily tasks and regulate behavior. Gifted students often struggle with EF due to their advanced intellectual reasoning outpacing their ability to manage, organize, or initiate tasks, leading to challenges with output despite high input ability.
