ANNOUNCING THE 2026 VHS DRAMA CLUB FALL PLAY!

Things are about to go very, very wrong at Valley High School… and we couldn’t be more excited! 😂

The VHS Drama Club is thrilled to announce our 2026 Fall Play: The Play That Goes Wrong (High School Edition)!

In this hilarious, fast-paced comedy, the accident-prone Cornley Drama Society is attempting to present a classic murder mystery, The Murder at Haversham Manor. Unfortunately, just about everything that can go wrong… does. Missing props, forgotten lines, unconscious actors, and increasingly desperate performers turn opening night into absolute theatrical chaos. The only thing more impressive than the disaster unfolding onstage is the cast’s determination to somehow make it to the final curtain!

We’re also excited to welcome Larry Tempo to the director’s chair for this year’s fall production! Larry will lead our students as they take on one of the funniest and chaotic shows we’ve ever put on stage.

The Valley High School Drama Club family is heartbroken to learn of the tragic passing of one of our alumni, Milo Davis, in Toronto this past weekend.

Milo was a valued member of our drama family, and our thoughts are with Milo's family, friends, and everyone whose lives were touched by them during this incredibly difficult time.

Did you know that in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, REAL audience members get pulled up on stage to compete as guest spellers? It's one of the most fun and unique things about this show -- and this week, we want those spellers to be YOU.

We're inviting local Valley High School Drama Club alumni to join us on stage during our tech and dress rehearsals next week (April 13, 14, and 15)!

Here's what you need to know:

✅ You're only needed for Act 1 -- but stay as long as you like!

HELP WANTED! Valley Drama Club presents the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

The annual VHS Drama Club Basket Auction is a major fundraising event, and we need your help to make it a success! Every year, this auction raises crucial funds that directly support the Drama Club and its productions.

Here's How You Can Help:

Donate Baskets or Items: We are looking for brand new, unused items to fill our baskets. This can include anything from personal care items like lotions and candles to themed baskets. Think regifting! Did you receive a gift that isn't quite your style? As long as it's unopened and brand new, it can find a happy home in a basket.

The provided list is just a starting point – we welcome your creativity! If you'd prefer to donate an entire themed basket, that's fantastic too. Consider the following Spelling bee-inspired ideas:

A: art supplies (sketch books, colored pencils)
B: breakfast (pancakes mix, waffle press, coffee)
C: candles, cooking supplies
D: dark chocolate or other sweets
E: everything, as long as it is brand new!!
