Ms. Laurie's PreK We strive to teach your preschool aged students the skills they need to begin their educational journey through interaction and hands-on experiences. Ms.

We provide a preschool program for children ages 21/2 to 5 years old. The program is designed to cover all of those skills needed by the time your child begins Kindergarten. The skills include recognition of all letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Writing of letters and numbers, drawing of shapes, and phonics are all mastered by the time each child completes the PreK 4 program. Laurie and Ms. Margo also focus on social skills by providing lessons that involve your child's interaction with all of the other students. He or she will learn to share and enjoy playing with others. Our focus is on each child. We provide a secure, loving environment where we allow the students to thrive.

Letter Aa/ hearts/ pink Week: We ate different kinds of apples, discussed which one was our favorite and made a precious apple craft. We learned about ants and made a cute art activity with sticks and our thumbprints. During music and movement , we danced to ‘The Ants Go Marching One by One’. We began learning about the alphabet and engaged in many Letter Aa sensory activities. We had an amazing week!

Star/ brown and the number 0: We made Zero the Hero puppets and engaged in a fun star activity. During music and movement we enjoyed pumpkin relay races. The kids enjoyed the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you See? They were so excited to take their own home!
