AATF Statement Regarding Recent Facebook Posts:

The Executive Council of the AATF wishes to address comments shared on social media about the shared resources on the AATF website. These resources were initially created under the auspices of the AATF Technology commission which, like all of our commissions, is composed of volunteers willing to dedicate their time and expertise to providing resources for the benefit of all AATF members. All materials produced and/or curated by the commissions are created under the AATF name and are intended for AATF use and dissemination. In 2020, work on the shared resources continued through the newly-created and compensated position of AATF Director of Social Media and Curated Resources. When the inaugural director resigned, the AATF Executive Council unanimously agreed that all resources be connected to AATF accounts so that they would be publicly available through the AATF website. The AATF YouTube and Pinterest pages, as well as the AATF Curated Resources website, include statements acknowledging the contributions of the previous director and the commission.

We thank all French teachers for their efforts to share their knowledge and support one another and hope you continue to utilize and contribute to the wonderful resources that the AATF has to offer.

This morning we were treated to an excellent Keynote by Amanda Seewald, the Executive Director of JNCL-NCLIS. Her message of collaboration to break down barriers, ensuring all students have the opportunity to learn English and at least one other language, truly resonated with our conference theme of L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE.
