I am available for work as a Nanny in your home, caring for your children. I am looking for full-time work, starting around 7a, and ending about 6p. I am very loving and caring for your little ones, and I work with them throughout the day as we are learning and playing together. I will prepare them meals and snacks throughout the day. We will play outside as much as we are able, and inside when we
need to. I love caring for young people, and it's what I do the best. Thanks for stopping by my page. I will properly, lovingly, and with attention to their needs, safety, and fun; take care of your children, while you are away at your work. I will arrive at your home before you leave, and I will stay with your kids until you come back. I will take care of their needs; diaper changing, feeding, preparing meals. I will work with them at finding activities to do such as playing inside or outside, games, puzzles, race track, books, learning, bicycles, back yard, or many, many other things that kids like to do. I'm not too much into having the TV on. It can be used, on occasion, but there are so many more valuable teaching and interactive things that the kids love to do. If a TV is used, I have used Veggie Tales as nice materials for a lesson. It just depends on what's going on. Some parents enjoy communicating with me throughout the day, and finding out what we are playing/learning on. They love it when I send them a text message, just giving a glimpse of what the kids are doing. A picture really brightens the parents' day, also. My experience:
I am currently, and have been working for a wonderful company that has offices in many states, and they assign me babysitting jobs throughout the Western part of the Twin Cities. I've been working through them for about 9 months, and have probably had at least 60 different families, and at least 100 or more children to care for, in that time. It's been a wonderful, and very busy time, caring for these families. Once the kids get to know me, they just have the best time playing, learning, eating, etc. The kids are laughing and giggling as they play their day away. I am really enjoying the day with them, also. Some of my assignments have been for just one day, but most have been for several days in a row, and multiple times of several days in a row. The parents will often be the ones that request me back by name, but sometimes the parents tell me that it's really the kids that requested me back. That is so great! I get to know the kids, too, and I just love it when I get an assignment that calls me back to those homes. Why Am I Going Out On My Own? It's a difficult situation. I love these families, and I really value the experiences I have had. However, traveling all over the place, going from one house to the next, is difficult to do. I've worked in Bloomington, Richfield, Minneapolis, Golden Valley, Edina, New Brighton, Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Chaska, Shakopee, Minnetonka, and others. So many families have expressed their interests in having me Nanny for them. I have also been interested in working for them, but it just didn't happen that it ended up this way. I don't totally know when I'm working next. I might be working 40 - 50 hours this week, but possibly next week I won't work as much. That's one reason, but really the biggest push is to find one or two homes, hopefully reasonably close to our home in New Hope, to work at. The best would be just one home, at about 40 hours per week. With Winter coming, and the closing of Freeway 169 promising to be a real mess with trying to commute South, I will focus on the Western, North Western, or Northern Suburbs. So, if you are looking for a Nanny for your wonderful children, send me a message, and we'll talk. Have a great day,
Carla
