Funsteps, Inc. - Closed PERMANENTLY CLOSED. A former leading provider of monthly preschool and toddler curriculum programs a Funsteps, Inc., had two primary products.

Funsteps to Learning was a family business offering materials for use in home childcare and childcare centers. The company was started as Kapers for Kids by Bev Greene in 1984. Funsteps was a monthly curriculum and crafts kit which provided a full range of experiences for children ages 3 to 5. Twosteps was a monthly curriculum and crafts kit which provided a full range of experiences for children

ages 2 to 3. The programs were available in monthly packages with materials for use three days per week and for any number of children. Located in New Hope, Minnesota, Bev's curriculum was used by tens of thousands of children over the years.

Hello everyone!

This is just a quick reminder that Funsteps is permanently closed.

We've gotten a few messages inquiring about how to get kits, and while we hope you all have wonderful school year, we are no longer fulfilling any orders.

Thank you, as always, for the years of support and patronage you provided to Funsteps during our time together.

Next month is Black History Month. You might want to collect some pictures of famous black Americans so that you can make a gallery of photographs to share with your children. You can enlist your children's and their parent's help in this project too. Look for newspaper, magazine or internet photos. Don't forget to look for pictures of people in your own community whom you might want to include in your gallery. Perhaps you can put a short story about each picture with the pictures so that you can read the stories to the children.

We're expecting below zero temperatures in Minnesota this weekend. What a great time to enjoy some fresh baked bread with your children. The easiest way to make it is to purchase some frozen bread dough loaves. Let the children help you prepare it using the "quick rise" method that will be printed on the package. Enjoy the fresh baked bread for your afternoon snack.

CRUNCHY SNOWBALLS......If you're wishing for snow but don't have any, try making pretend snowballs by crunching up newspaper. You can make a fun "golf" type course by placing buckets or baskets in various places. Set designated "throwing lines" for each and challenge your children to play all of the holes by standing at the lines and throwing the "snowballs" into the containers.
