CrossNet Ministries exists to offer help and hope in the name of Jesus Christ by empowering people in the ELANCO community.

CrossNet Youth Center and CrossNet Offices fall under the umbrella of CrossNet Ministries. CrossNet Youth Center exists to provide a safe place for teens to connect with one another and caring adults. CrossNet Offices exists to provide resources to families and youth so that they can learn, grow, gain life skills and further their education. Through the use of after school tutoring, one-to-one men

toring and resource programs, the lives of youth and families will be more enriched. YOUTH CENTER HOURS:
Tuesdays, from 3-4:00 PM: Homework Help (for all students 7-12th grade)
Wednesdays, from 6:30-8:00 PM: High School Night (9-12th grade)
Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM: Middle School Night (7 & 8th grade)

Volunteer Opportunities!

Interested in volunteering with CrossNet? We have several opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference in our community!

Male Teen Mentors - We are looking for men who are willing to come alongside teen boys in our community as positive role models and sources of support. Mentors meet with their mentees twice a month, with the hope that these relationships will grow and last a lifetime!

Clothing Ministry Volunteers - Our upcoming clothing ministry, The Clothing Commons, needs volunteers! Volunteers will help greet guests, check people in and out, and be available to answer questions.

Cross Jr. Volunteers - We are looking for volunteers to come alongside 4th and 5th grade students as they focus on building self-confidence, leadership skills, and emotional resources, all while having fun!

Female Transportation Drivers - We are looking for female drivers to help provide transportation for women in our community. Drivers will assist with transportation to medical and/or legal appointments on an as-needed basis.

A big thank you to the Garden Spot Girls Volleyball team for volunteering with us last week! 💙

The team spent the day sorting and organizing clothing in our Clothing Commons as we continue preparing to open it to the community. We are so grateful for volunteers who are willing to give their time and energy to help us create a welcoming space for the families we serve.

Students from our Youth Center recently enjoyed a day trip to the beach! 🌊

For many of them, this was their first time experiencing the beach. It was a fun day full of lots of laughs and great memories!

Backpack Program Recap!

Our Backpack Program was a huge success! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to provide over 500 backpacks to local students as they prepare for the new school year.

Because of the many donors who contributed backpacks and school supplies, each student was able to choose a backpack they loved and head back to school with the supplies they need to succeed! Students also had the opportunity to receive a free haircut, helping them start the school year feeling confident.

Their team jumped right in to support our food programs and helped sort school supplies and backpack donations, making a real difference for the families we serve. We truly appreciate their time, energy, and willingness to give back to the community!

Today is our Backpack Program!✏️ 🎒

Last week, many volunteers helped sort through donations and pack backpacks full of school supplies to give away to students in our community. Thanks to our amazing volunteers and the many generous people who donated supplies, we have 800 backpacks ready to give away to students today!

Our Backpack Program is taking place today from 9:00am - 6:00pm in CrossNet's Youth Center. Registration is not required.
