Thanks to the 5th Grade Class of 2024 for gifting us with a Spirit Rock! This rock will be available to rent beginning in the fall so watch for information over the summer. Shout out to VLS Landscaping for delivering and unloading this 2 ton boulder!

Attention Fourth Grade Families:
The Fifth Grade Committee needs help from our fourth grade families to help out with the promotion ceremony on the evening of Tuesday, June 11th, so our fifth grade parents can spend the evening with their graduating students. Volunteering will be easy! We are looking for students to hand out programs, hold doors open and a couple of adults to stand at the refreshment table to hand out cookies and water. Thank you to everyone who participated in the food drive for Western Wake Crisis Ministry. The Student Council collected 18 boxes of non-perishable food items to help feed local families over the summer. (The photo only shows a small portion of the donations as our council members were busy sorting and packing!)

Join us tonight at Bee Sweet from 6-8 pm for our final Spirit Night of the school year. Bring the paper flyer that went home last week or show the image on your phone so our school gets credit!

Tomorrow is the last day to donate to the Student Council Food Drive for Western Wake Crisis Ministry to feed families in need over the summer. Non-perishable items can be dropped off in each grade's commons area. WWCM is in need of all non-perishables, but especially kid-friendly foods like peanut butter, snacks, pastas, and canned fruits. Thank you all for supporting this effort!

Heading to the grocery store? Consider picking up a few extra items to donate to the Student Council food drive for Western Wake Crisis Ministry to help feed families in need. Donations will be collected in the commons areas through Friday.

Our Student Council is collecting non-perishable food items for Western Wake Crisis Ministry’s Summer Stock Up program. Most needed items include things students eat like pasta and ramen, snacks, peanut butter and canned fruits! We are collecting items in each grade’s commons area through next Friday, May 24. Please consider helping feed the more than 6200 students in our area who won’t be able to rely on daily free or reduced lunches this summer.

Join us tomorrow, May 14, at 9:30 a.m. for our last PTA meeting of the school year. We will be electing officers for next year and voting on a few budget amendments for the remainder of this school year. See you there!
