How fortunate we have been this year to be on campus five days a week! Students have been enjoying outdoor learning and play, classroom projects, field trips, coastal cleanups, drama productions, the Halloween Parade and Fair, community gatherings, sports (and games with other schools!), maple tree....

Today, , has been a chance to celebrate the Foote spirit and come together in support of our mission to provide child-centered learning in a diverse and inclusive community. We have already received almost 250 donations from parents, grandparents, alumni, teachers, and friends —a terrific show of support—and we still have several hours to go! A touching and beautiful tribute today in TIME magazine written by Annie Sklaver Orenstein '99 about her brother, Capt. Ben Sklaver '92, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2009. We thank him and all of our veterans for their service.
