It’s Brain Awareness Week! 🧠💡
From March 16-22, scientists all over the world are sharing how research helps us understand the brain and the experiences that make us human. Here in New Haven, that work happens every day at BrainWorks.
Yale researchers study perception, memory, learning, and behavior using advanced tools designed to safely measure brain activity. Many of these studies are only possible thanks to volunteer participants from the local community.
Over the next few weeks, we will share a look inside BrainWorks and the research that happens here every day.

In October, BrainWorks joined over 80 street vendors and non-profits in this fall’s edition of the New Haven Night Market.
Our volunteers talked about their research and answered visitors’ questions about the mind and the brain while showing neuroscience demos.
Thank you for having us, Downtown NHV!
