Yale WiCS is an undergraduate society of women and gender minorities aiming to build community and offer opportunities for students involved in CS at Yale.

Yale WiCS stands in solidarity with the black community in the fight for racial equality.

The recent murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor have continued a pattern of injustice that has been present in our country for centuries, and we must demand change.

We especially recognize that as technologists, black people have continuously contributed to the fields of technology and computer science remarkably, yet the technology industry continues to contribute to their discrimination and repression. Technology has continued to profit off racism, transphobia, and sexism globally.
