This year, we celebrated 20 years since Yale’s Office of Sustainability was founded—and we’re feeling grateful (and energized) by the progress our community has made. Net campus emissions are down 43% since 2005, 37 buildings are certified LEED Gold or Platinum, and Spring Salvage has diverted 663 tons of household goods from the waste stream. Bike safety just got easier! 🚴
Biking has become a popular option for students and faculty to get from class to class without contributing to emissions - but it's important to know the rules of the road
The bicycle safety course provides a free resource for bikers to learn how to safely make their way around New Haven. The one-hour course teaches Yale community members about local and state bicycle laws and accident prevention
