Neighborhood Music School is Connecticut’s largest community arts school, serving 2,400+ students of all ages (adults, too!) with music, dance, drama, film, an arts-integrated preschool, and a theatre-based middle school.

SAVE THE DATE for the 8th Annual New Haven Hip Hop Conference!!!

🔊 Saturday, July 11th & Sunday, July 12th, doors open at 11 am 🔊

We'll have Artsucation Academy Network and Dr. Hanan Hameen at NMS to lead two days full of interactive workshops on the four elements of hip hop: emcee, graffiti, hip-hop music, and breakdancing.

We are so proud of our graduating 8th graders!

Over the last two years, this ATLAS class produced and performed in four productions, pursued independent research projects, devised a play about democracy, held debates on space exploration, studied the 1940s U.S. history and explored the different forms of government around the world..

They are prepared to thrive in high school and beyond as curious, committed, creative, confident, and compassionate people.

Next year our ATLAS alumni head to high school. We have grads going to...
- Co-op High School to study visual arts
- New Haven Academy
- their home high schools + Educational Center for the Arts to study music
- North Branford High School
- Hamden High School

Don't miss our Steel Pans ensemble in Edgewood Park THIS Saturday, June 13th at 2pm!

They'll be set up near the intersection of Hobart St and Edgewood Ave, close to the Edgewood Park Ranger Station. Look for the big shiny drums 😉

Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.

Have you heard about DELTA? 🎭🎶
DELTA is a tuition-free performing arts program for qualifying students in grades 6–12 from New Haven and surrounding towns. Our students get one-on-one lessons, group classes, ensembles, and hands-on workshops with some truly amazing artists.

Last year saw Hamilton on Broadway, performed for their families and friends, and built friendships that'll last a lifetime.
