Out of the Gallery is a youth mentoring program that promotes critical dialogue and self development

All of our mentors identify on the LGBTQ spectrum and will serve as a guiding voice to questioning youth in terms of developing a sense of their identity and gaining a grasp on who they are and who they want to be as a person overall. Mentors will meet with their students on Saturdays among the exhibitions in the Yale University Art Gallery for one on ones and/or group sessions. These casual meeti

Winter is coming and the holidays are upon us! OG hopes you're having fun prepping your stomachs for Thanksgiving. In the interest of the jolliness that follows (or already exists if you've had your Christmas playlist since November first like Mentor Brittany) we would like to announce that we will be partnering with AIDS Project New Haven to gather toys for those in need this holiday season. APNH supports over 120 families and could really use the help gathering toys. For more info, hit us up in the format of your favorite holiday ditty. (Mentor Brittany would really appreciate it)

petition: Maze Runner: Scorch Trials - apologize for stealing Pueblo artifacts! 10/06/2015

OG takes culture very seriously. When we discuss art and ourselves we always keep culture in mind. The cast of The Scorch Trials didn't do that and Mentor Maeve isn't having any of it. Join the masses and let Dylan O'Brien and his fellow cast members know that sacred Native American locations are not some gift shop. Give back what you took and apologize!

Hello everyone! Check out this article that includes an interview with one of our fabulous mentors, Maeve! She wasn't too pleased that one of her faves disregarded the sanctity of Native American culture and she made sure to do something about it.
